Creole garlic varieties are rare and best known for their sweet and spicy flavour. They have colourful medium sized bulbs with 5-9 cloves. Best suited to warmer climates.
Turban garlic is from Asiatic descent, known for their radish like bite and ability to withstand high heat cooking. Turban garlic is always the first to emerge in the spring. Turbans do produce a scape but they do not fully curl.
