Leningrad

Leningrad

Porcelain

If there ever was a garlic made for English gardens this is it.  Leningrad grows into very uniform looking plants.  Size and shape are very consistent with tall rigid looking scapes.  The bulbs are large tightly wrapped in white, with soft coloured cloves.  Leningrad is not as spicy as most Porcelains.  As a result there are noticeable complexities in its flavour.

What are some good food pairings for this garlic?

Use Leningrad as you would most porcelains, raw and sparingly. It would also make a very good garlic for marinades and rubs.

What are some highlights of this garlic?

The Beatles would say 'its a very clean garlic isn't it"
